Lieksa Brass Week

The festival brings brass ensembles to Lieksa, in Finland's North Karelia region, at Lieksa Church, known for its acoustics, and the 400-seat Brahe Hall. It combines an international competition, concerts, and courses for amateur and professional musicians, led artistically by trumpeter Jouko Harjanne, near Koli National Park and Lake Pielinen.
