About
The Ljubljana Festival has animated the Slovenian capital since 1953, staged mainly at the open-air Križanke complex, a former Baroque monastery converted for the event with its outdoor stage and so-called Courtyard of Hell. Its programme spans classical music, opera, ballet, jazz and world music, with recurring guest appearances by international orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic.
