Overview
About
The Louis Lewandowski Festival is devoted to synagogal music, named after the Berlin composer and choirmaster who shaped the Jewish liturgical repertoire in the nineteenth century. Founded in 2002 and organised since 2011 by the Ensemble Synagogal Berlin, it takes place notably at the Rykestrasse Synagogue and features guest choirs from Israel and the United States. Admission is free.
