About
The Monteverdi Festival takes place in Cremona, the birthplace of Claudio Monteverdi, and has been held for more than forty years. Dedicated to Baroque repertoire and opera, it presents lyric productions, concerts in churches, theatres and historic palaces, as well as musicological events. It has welcomed Cecilia Bartoli, Les Musiciens du Prince and Gianluca Capuano.
