About
Founded in 1922, the Mozartfest in Würzburg is Germany's oldest festival devoted to Mozart's music. Each spring it unfolds over several weeks within the UNESCO-listed Würzburg Residence, offering dozens of concerts spanning chamber music, symphonic works and vocal music. Internationally renowned orchestras perform in the ornate Kaisersaal, while the Nachtmusiken, open-air night concerts, bring the illuminated Hofgarten gardens to life.
