Musikalischer Sommer in Ostfriesland

Founded in 1983 by musicians Wolfram and Erika König, this touring festival describes itself as Germany's oldest open air classical music festival. Concerts spanning classical, contemporary, jazz and chanson repertoire take place in around 200 historic venues, including churches, castles, manors and farmhouses, spread across East Frisia between the North Sea coast and Oldenburg.
