Musikfest Erzgebirge

Musikfest Erzgebirge is a classical music festival held every two years since 2010, spread across several towns in Saxony's Ore Mountains, including Schwarzenberg, Annaberg-Buchholz, Marienberg, Schneeberg and Freiberg. In Schwarzenberg, St. Georgenkirche traditionally hosts the opening concert. Under the artistic direction of conductor Hans-Christoph Rademann, the festival brings around a dozen concerts and musical encounters to heritage venues across the region.
