Musiques à Saint-Hipp, et convoi culturel

Founded in 2006, the Musiques à Saint-Hipp festival brings around twenty free, traveling concerts each July to the Pays de Maîche area around Saint-Hippolyte in the Doubs. Under the artistic direction of violinist Marc Togonal, musicians perform in venues ranging from local churches to a carpentry workshop or a small museum. The mix of repertoires and its relaxed, welcoming spirit make it as much a way of exploring the region as of hearing live music.
