Oper Oder-Spree

This opera festival takes place in eastern Brandenburg, across the towns of Beeskow, Neuzelle and Sauen, notably in the courtyard of Beeskow Castle and at Neuzelle Monastery. It grew out of a singing masterclass held at the castle since 1991 combined with the Neuzelle summer opera launched in 1998, taking its current name in 2001. Each season brings an opera production and concerts between April and August, showcasing young singers in training.
