About
Operosa is an annual opera and classical music festival founded in 2006 by Finnish mezzo-soprano Katherine Haataja. Based mainly in the Balkans, with its main event in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, it also maintains ties to Belgrade, where concerts have been held since 2007 at venues including the Dom Omladine theatre and the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment. Focused chiefly on opera, it also features orchestral, chamber and vocal concerts, with a mission to support young opera talent.
