Piano en Valois

Piano en Valois takes place in Angoulême, mainly at the Théâtre d'Angoulême and La Palène, and was founded in 1994. The festival offers an eclectic program blending classical music, jazz and other musical expressions, pairing established performers with promising young talents. Pianists who later became internationally recognized figures, such as Bertrand Chamayou, Khatia Buniatishvili and Kotaro Fukuma, launched their careers on its stages.
