Since 1981, the Quedlinburger Musiksommer has staged classical and baroque concerts in the historic churches of Quedlinburg, a German town whose medieval centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The programme brings together soloists, small ensembles and guest orchestras such as the Staatskapelle Halle, within the acoustics of these religious buildings.
