Overview
About
Founded in 1953 following Richard Wagner's visit to the gardens of Villa Rufolo, the Ravello Festival presents classical and symphonic concerts on a terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast, some 350 metres above sea level. It is run by the Fondazione Ravello, which has managed the villa since 2002, and each edition brings in major international orchestras, conductors and soloists.
