The Rencontres Musicales de Serre Chevalier, organised by the Art et Montagne association based in Saint-Chaffrey, are devoted to classical music. Concerts are held mainly in the area's churches (Le Casset, Saint-Chaffrey, La Salle-les-Alpes, Le Monêtier-les-Bains), which offer distinctive acoustics and an intimate mountain setting.
