About
Founded in 1998, the Riga Opera Festival closes each summer the season of the Latvian National Opera in its historic house on Aspazijas bulvāris in Riga. The program combines new productions with notable revivals from the past season, spanning both opera and ballet, and traditionally ends with a gala concert.
