Saaremaa Opera Festival

The Saaremaa Opera Festival takes place at the Kuressaare Castle Opera House on the Estonian island of Saaremaa, with performances staged outdoors. The programme centres on major European operatic repertoire, from Wagner to Verdi and Bizet, alongside fado evenings and an opera for children. It regularly hosts touring foreign companies, including Lisbon's São Carlos National Theatre.
