Founded in 1976, the Schubertiade is devoted to the European lied and chamber music tradition, centred on the work of Franz Schubert. It takes place across two venues in Austria's Vorarlberg region: the Angelika Kaufmann Hall in Schwarzenberg and the Markus Sittikus Hall in Hohenems, often ranked among the finest chamber music halls in the world.
