Schubertiade Suisse Romande

The Schubertiade Suisse Romande, organized by Swiss radio RTS Espace 2, is held every two years in a different city of French speaking Switzerland, with La Chaux de Fonds hosting one edition. Inspired by the musical evenings Franz Schubert held with his friends, the festival offers a multitude of short classical music concerts in landmark venues around town, in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Its highlight is a mass singalong of Schubert's German Mass performed together with the audience.
