Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad

Founded in the early 2000s, the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad bring together classical musicians each winter in Saanen, with a focus on violin and chamber music. Under Renaud Capuçon's artistic direction since 2016, the festival combines concerts with a competition, awarding the Thierry Scherz and André Hoffmann prizes through a jury, and commissioning a new work each year from a resident composer.
