Overview
About
Spannungen brings together chamber musicians at the former RWE power station in Heimbach, in the Eifel region, whose industrial halls serve as concert venues. Founded by pianist Lars Vogt, it is now led by violinist Christian Tetzlaff and offers public rehearsals alongside its concerts. Its programmes, centred on classical and contemporary repertoire, are broadcast on Deutschlandfunk radio.
