About
Founded in 1998 in Chemnitz by rappers Tefla and Jaleel, the splash! Festival grew into a major hip hop gathering in Germany before settling at the former industrial site of Ferropolis. Its lineup mixes German and international rap with reggae, dancehall and drum and bass across several stages, alongside a graffiti contest and dance battles.
