About
This biennial festival has been held at St Albans Cathedral and around the historic English city since 1963. Conceived by organist Peter Hurford to mark the building of a new organ by Harrison & Harrison, it is now regarded as one of the world's leading organ competitions. Alongside the competition itself come concerts, talks, workshops and exhibitions, with additional rounds held as far afield as London.
