Steyr Music Festival

The Steyr Music Festival stages open-air musicals and operettas each summer in the moat of Lamberg Castle, right in the heart of Steyr in Upper Austria. The medieval castle setting lends a dramatic backdrop to large-scale productions performed by regional ensembles and sizeable casts. Each season the festival draws several thousand visitors from across the region.
