Overview
About
The Terraque festival is held each year in Carnac, Brittany, at emblematic venues such as the Casino, the Church of Saint-Cornely, the Chapelle de la Congregation and the Menec hall. Founded in 2017 by conductor Clement Mao-Takacs, who remains its artistic director, it presents a program of classical and contemporary music including choral works, solo recitals, chamber music and opera excerpts. Its name, borrowed from Carnac-born poet Guillevic, evokes a dialogue between land and sea that shapes the festival's artistic approach, echoing the site's megalithic heritage.
