Thüringer Bachwochen

The Thüringer Bachwochen take place in Thuringia, the region where Johann Sebastian Bach lived and worked for much of his life, in historic sites tied to his family. The festival brings together established ensembles and emerging performers around a baroque repertoire centered on Bach's work, and is linked through collaboration with the Bachfest Leipzig and the Bachfesttage Köthen.
