Thüringer Schlossfestspiele Sondershausen

The Thüringer Schlossfestspiele take place each summer in the courtyard of Sondershausen Castle in Thuringia, where the building's four wing structure gives the open air stage a notably clear natural acoustic. Founded in 2006 by Theater Nordhausen and the Loh-Orchester Sondershausen, the festival stages operettas and musicals outdoors, with temporary grandstand seating for several hundred spectators.
