Tighten up

The Tighten Up! festival has run in Marseille since 2007, organized by the Piedenez Prod association around DJ and programmer Selecter The Punisher. Spread across several venues in the city and held in two editions a year, it offers an eclectic lineup spanning funk, soul, hip-hop, breakbeat, brass band, Latin, Afro, ska, Northern soul and disco, mixing international acts with local talent. The vibe stays relaxed and true to the club spirit of American and Jamaican black music.
