Time of Music

Time of Music (Musiikin aika) is held every summer in Viitasaari, in central Finland, where it was founded in 1982. It is Finland's only annual contemporary music festival, known for its adventurous, boundary-pushing programme featuring internationally renowned composers and performers. Alongside its concerts, the festival runs courses, masterclasses and seminars, making it a gathering point for music professionals and students alike.
