Utopies festivales de Pisy

Every early August, the small Burgundy village of Pisy hosts a two or three day contemporary music festival run by the association that shares its name. The programme explores the fringes of 20th and 21st century classical music, taking in jazz, brass bands, improvised music and musical theatre, with regional musicians, actors, visual artists and poets taking part. During the festival the village square becomes a communal dining area run by volunteers, and a dance traditionally closes out the event.
