Overview
About
Founded in 2003 in Cádiz, this festival is devoted to Spanish music and, by extension, Ibero-American repertoire, with November 23, the birth date of Manuel de Falla, as its symbolic anchor. Over about ten days in autumn, orchestras, chamber ensembles, soloists and stage companies present music ranging from the baroque era to contemporary creation, with particular attention to premieres and the rediscovery of Spanish musical heritage. Artist talks, workshops and outreach activities round out the program.
