Festival van Vlaanderen

This classical music festival in Mechelen began in 1969 as a series of organ and carillon concerts at Sint-Romboutskathedraal before expanding into vocal repertoire. It is part of the Festival van Vlaanderen network and runs in two parts: Lunalia in spring, focused on the human voice, and Musica Divina in autumn, with concerts held in the abbeys and beguinages of the Kempen region.
