Urkult

Urkult takes place in Näsåker, Sweden, near the Nämforsen rapids on the Ångerman River, a site marked by prehistoric rock carvings. Founded in the mid 1990s, this world music festival combines concerts with theatre and poetry, run each year with the help of several hundred volunteers. All on site food vendors serve organic fare, with an emphasis on local sourcing.
